To be effective in business you must be a person in influence. What makes a person influential? It comes from a stellar reputation for high ethics, good character, and stature as a knowledgeable expert in a particular field. At its core, it flows from trust. People come to trust you or they don't. How does trust happen? A person of influence builds a reputation of trust by the small actions they make every day that demonstrate to everyone around that they are an honorable person.
