Have you ever bought a renewable product or service from a company that never contacted you again to see if you’d like to buy again? Think about tree trimming services, gutter cleaners, mulching, carpet cleaners, and air conditioning. The list goes on and on. Far too many of such companies are focused on maximizing the number of transactions in the short-term. Because people may not need them regularly, they simply move on to the next target and forget all about you. What if they took the time to build a relationship and simply asked how often you’d like them to check in with you. Would that simple courtesy make you far more inclined to do business with them.
